Pekanbaru – Ustaz Abdul Somad (UAS) admitted that in his lectures he always invites the public to maintain order and not be divided even though they have different choices in order to make the upcoming 2024 elections safe and peaceful.
This was once again expressed by UAS to the Head of the National Police’s Nusantara Cooling System (Kaops NCS) 2023-2024, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri and his entourage at the Nurul Azhar Islamic Boarding School, Rumbai, Pekanbaru, Tuesday, (21/11).
The arrival of Irjen Pol Asep and his entourage, as admitted by UAS, is in line with his vision for nationalism.
“Always in the Fajr study, midday tabliq akbar, evening study, in the stadium, in the mosque, in the field, I still include maintaining order and participating in the democratic party. Don’t abstain from voting. Use your right to vote. Don’t be tempted by money politics. Maintain order and maintain peace. “security is our endeavor,” said UAS.
Apart from that, UAS also invites all levels of society to exercise their right to vote in the democratic party. According to him, this could determine the fate of the Indonesian nation in the next five years.
“Use the right for 5 minutes to determine the next five years. Even though in the morning there are people who garden, cut rubber, cut palm oil, read the Koran, pray at dawn, recite dhikr, use their right to vote according to their conscience in direct, general, free, secret, honest and it’s fair. If someone is playing money politics, take the money, don’t vote for the person,” stressed UAS.
Meanwhile, Irjen Pol Asep Edi on this occasion explained that the aim and purpose of his and his entourage’s visit to stay in touch with UAS was to maintain national unity and integrity. Even though in the next election people will have different choices, don’t be divided.
He emphasized that the Polri always invites the active role of the community, especially religious leaders, to ensure that the 2024 elections are safe and peaceful.
“Alhamdulillah, UAS welcomed our aims and objectives in carrying out the duties of the Nusantara Cooling System Operation to cool the atmosphere ahead of the election.
