Jakarta – The Director of Registration and Identification (Dirregident) of Korlantas Polri, Brigadier General Yusri Yunus said that the cost of making a driver’s license (SIM) in Indonesia is relatively cheap. With only IDR100,000 in capital, you can get a new SIM.
The cost of making this SIM is listed in Government Regulation Number 76 of 2020 concerning Types and Tariffs for Types of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) that apply to the National Police.
The rules in the regulation explain that the most expensive fee for issuing a new SIM is IDR 120,000 for SIM A, BI and BII. Meanwhile, SIM C, CI and CII are IDR100,000.
“Only in Indonesia Rp. 100,000 can you get a SIM. Even though it must be known that the impact of road accidents is that the death rate in Indonesia is high,” said Brigadier General Yusri to the media crew, Tuesday, (20/6).
Not only calling it cheap, Brigadier General Yusri also said that the process of making a SIM in Indonesia was relatively easy. The dilemma is that this facility makes Indonesian SIMs invalid in several countries.
“Indonesia is too easy to make a SIM. It’s a matter of accidents, you know,” he said.
“I know that everyone can drive a vehicle. The most important school (tested) is driving ethics, ethics. What we lack are drivers of motorized vehicles on the road until an accident occurs. This is a lack of ethics,” continued this one star general that is shaded by the zodiac Sagittarius emphasized. Bembo
