Pontianak – PT PLN (Persero) held an audience with the Kapolda Kalbar, Inspector General of Police Pipit Rismanto at the West Kalimantan Regional Police Headquarters, last Wednesday, (17/5).
This audience was also an event for friendly relations between the General Manager of PLN UIP KLB, Muhammad Dahlan Djamaluddin who took office on April 1, 2023 and the General Manager of PLN UID West Kalimantan, Muhammad Soffin Hadi with the Kapolda Kalbar, Inspector General Pol. Pipit Rismanto.
“We, PLN UIP, are tasked with building electricity infrastructure projects for generators, substations and transmissions which will later be operated by PLN UIP3B Kalimantan and received by PLN UID West Kalimantan which will continue to distribute electricity from low voltage to people’s homes and other customers,” said Dahlan.
Another discussion that was also conveyed by PLN on this occasion related to the interconnection of the electricity system in Kalimantan.
“Currently the electricity systems in East, North, South and Central Kalimantan have been connected. Meanwhile the Equator’s electricity system or West Kalimantan’s electricity system has not been connected to Central Kalimantan. We PLN are still building the project in order to achieve electricity interconnection throughout Kalimantan so that it can serve with more reliable electricity distribution,” he explained.
Responding to this presentation, the Kapolda Kalbar, Inspector General Pol Pipit Rismanto emphasized that his staff would continue to support and maintain the solidity of cooperation with PLN to maintain the distribution of electricity to the community.
The two-star general who graduated from Battalion Tunggal Panaluan Akpol 1994 also said, “We and our staff will always be ready to help to make the construction of electricity infrastructure successful and provide electricity to the community from upstream to downstream.” Bembo
