Jakarta – The handover ceremony for the position of Panglima TNI from Laksamana TNI Yudo Margono to Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto was held simply but solemnly, at TNI Headquarters Plaza, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, Wednesday, (22/11).
Acting as Ceremonial Inspectors for this event were TNI Laksamana Yudo Margono and Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto. Meanwhile, acting as Commander of the Ceremony is Marine Kolonel (P) Sandy Kurniawan who serves as Commander of Lanal Palembang on a daily basis.
This Sertijab Ceremony was marked by the handing over of the TNI Banner “Tri Dharma Eka Karma” and the signing of the handover document from TNI Laksamana Yudo Margono to Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto.
In front of the media crew, Laksamana TNI Yudo Margono expressed his thanks and said goodbye because he was entering retirement.
“I would like to thank the President, the State, the entire community and of course I also to all ranks of the TNI wherever they are and serve. “I beg to say goodbye and I also entrust that the TNI remains professionally modern and tough in protecting the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia which we all love,” said Laksamana Yudo.
Meanwhile, Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto said he would continue Laksamana TNI Yudo Margono’s programs.
“I will continue the programs that have been implemented by the previous Panglima TNI in accordance with my vision and mission of a TNI that is PRIMA, Professionally Responsive, Integrative, Modern and Adaptive,” said Panglima Agus.
“Essentially, the short-term program that I will do is first well trained. I will train my soldiers professionally individually and as a group. Then well equipped, equipped with modern equipment. Of course we will collaborate with our country’s Inhan, domestic products and well paid. We will especially provide ULP with adequate operations and we will submit it to the defense ministry,” explained Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto.
In the series of TNI Commander’s Certijab, the General Chairperson of Dharma Pertiwi and IKKT Pragati Wira Anggini were also given the Sertijab from Mrs. Vero Yudo Margono to Mrs. Evi Agus Subiyanto.
After that, the ceremony continued to welcome the old officials and the new Panglima TNI, then the traditional ceremony of sending off Laksamana TNI Yudo Margono and welcoming Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto. Bembo
