Jakarta – The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police will hold Operation Obedience 2023 from 10-23 July. The traffic compliance operation will be held for two weeks.
The Head of the Operations Section (Kabagops) Korlantas Polri, Kombes Pol Eddy Djunaedi said, currently the personnel are conducting pre-Operation Compliance 2023 training.
“One of the functions of Latpraops is to find out how to act between Korlantas and its ranks and Operation Compliance is useful for us and the community. Operation Compliance will be held from 10 to 23 July,” said Kombes Pol Eddy as quoted from NTMC Polri, Thursday (6/ 7) yesterday.
It was said, this was an operation before officers held a special operation codenamed Operation Mantap Brata to secure the upcoming 2024 General Election and Pilkada. The personnel in the field are also urged to remain humane and have integrity without extortion.
“His goal made Kamseltibcarlantas more obedient and orderly. Before the Mantap Brata operation, we first carried out this Obedient Operation. Regarding the ban, officers need not be afraid of law enforcement as long as they follow the existing rules and SOPs and no one takes action themselves,” he explained.
“Second, no matter how small, avoid counterproductive activities. Remember to be sympathetic and humane, smile and greet even though there is law enforcement. The theme raised is not only for the community but also for officers.”
