Jakarta – The National Police’s Traffic Corps (Korlantas) implemented contraflow traffic engineering on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road. Traffic engineering is implemented to reduce vehicle volume density during the 2024 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays.
The implementation of contraflow will start on Monday, December 25 2023. However, it is situational, depending on traffic conditions in the field.
On Monday, (25/12) as quoted on the Instagram page @ntmc_polri, Korlantas has implemented a contraflow system, either one lane or two lanes in several locations. Contraflow implementation is carried out, among others, on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road KM 70 Cikatama to KM 65, 1 lane contraflow.
Then the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road KM 65 Cikatama up to KM 47, 2 lane contraflow.
For Tuesday, December 26 2023, 14.00-24.00 WIB, contraflow and one way traffic engineering will be implemented in several locations such as on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road KM 188 GT Palimanan to KM 72 GT Cikampek Utama, one way.
Then the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road KM 72 to KM 47, 2 lane contraflow. Then the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road KM 47 to KM 36, 1 lane contraflow.
Vehicles from Bandung heading to Cirebon via the Cisudawu Toll Road will be taken out at the Cimalaka/Tomo Regency/Pantura Exit and can re-enter the toll road via Palimanan 3 and Plumbon Cirebon Toll Gate.
