Jakarta – Firm, straightforward, humanist. These three words seem to be one of the personality points of Kombes Pol Komarudin. The proof is easy, just try asking Mbah Google. Just type the officer’s name in the search field and then enter, it is guaranteed that these three words will appear a lot in his digital track record.
At the time of writing this article, Kombes Pol Komarudin was busy holding the mandate of the position of Kapolrestro Jakarta Pusat. This mandate was stated in the Telegram Letter of the National Police Chief Number ST/747/IV/KEP/2022, dated April 13, 2022. He replaced his senior, Kombes Pol Hengki Haryadi who was lined up as the Polda Metro Jaya Criminal Investigation Directorate.
Before entering the central region of the Capital City, Komarudin was on the outskirts of Jakarta – in Tangerang City to be precise – with the same duties and positions. But that’s only for a moment. The third word, humanist, is like the ultimate weapon for Kombes Pol Komarudin. It only appears under certain conditions, but its aura still radiates strongly and can be felt. This is an advantage as well as a gift from God for Komarudin to lead the Polrestro Jakarta Pusat.

“From the results of interrogation, AR led to AD, whose boarding house was right opposite AR,” Komarudin said at the time.
“After we did an in-depth study, we found out that AD is an active member of the National Police from the West Jakarta Metro Police drug unit.”
“And from the results of an investigation into AD, it was found that the goods in his possession were obtained from a member of the National Police, namely Kompol Kasranto, who at that time was the Kapolsek Kalibaru, ” he continued.
Referring to this statement, continued Komarudin, he immediately reported to the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Inspector General of Police Fadil Imran, regarding the progress of following up on the results of the staff’s statement. Kapolda Fadil then ordered Komarudin to coordinate with the Head of Propam Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhirawa and Diresnarkoba Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Mukti Juharsa to jointly carry out the development.
Led by Kombes Mukti, Kompol Kasranto was also arrested. Also arrested was Aiptu J from the Tanjung Priok KPPP Police with 305 grams of methamphetamine as evidence.
Furthermore, from Kompol Kasranto’s statement, it was discovered that the goods were obtained from Linda Pujiastuti, who often had meetings with AW in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.
“We arrested Brother AW at his residence in the Taman Kedoya Baru Complex on October 12, 2022 with Brother A. 1 kg of methamphetamine was found at his place,” said Kombes Pol Mukti Juharsa at the time.
From that arrest, information developed again through the acknowledgment that the methamphetamine type goods were still there and kept by a member of the National Police with the rank of AKBP under the name Dody Prawiranegara. The confession turned out to be true. From the hands of AKBP Dody who was once the Kapolres Bukit Tinggi, the item in question was found at his house with a volume of 2 kg.
But unexpectedly, AKBP Dody’s arrest turned out to be the final development towards the climax. In his confession, AKBP Dody stated that he used A’s services as an intermediary with Linda Pujiastuti, who incidentally was a friend of Inspector General of Police Teddy Minahasa. Then he also said that Inspector General of Police Teddy Minahasa, who was the Kapolda Sumatera Barat at that time, was digging 5 kg of methamphetamine evidence from West Sumatra.
“From the 5 kg it was split into 3.3 kg of methamphetamine which was secured and 1.7 kg of methamphetamine which was sold by Brother BG. But we have secured all of them, including plans to distribute them in Kampung Bahari,” explained Kombes Pol Mukti.
Inspector General of Police Teddy Minahasa was arrested by Propam Polri without resistance on Tuesday, October 13 2022. This arrest was only three days after the Telegram Letter Number ST/2134/X/KEP/2022 came down which appointed him as Kapolda Jawa Timur to replace Inspector General of Police Nico Afinta who was transferred to become Sahlisosbud Kapolri.
The next day, October 14, 2022, the Kapolri issued another TR which appointed Inspector General of Police Toni Hermanto as Kapolda Jawa Timur to replace Teddy Minahasa. This automatically made Teddy Minahasa officially labeled as the owner of the record for the Kapolda with the shortest tenure – only four days.
Unlike Komaruddin. On the same day, he actually received praise from the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Inspector General of Police Fadil Imran. Kapolda Fadil said that disclosure of drug cases with the qualities of an active two-star police general suspect could occur because of Komarudin’s sensitivity as the police chief.

In this case the Kapolrestro Jakarta Pusat, Kombes Pol Komarudin who is willing and sensitive to listen to public complaints,” said Inspector General Fadil Imran during a press conference at the Central Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters, Friday, October 14, 2022 ago.
