Jakarta – Kombes Pol Ade Safri Simanjuntak is now officially the Director of the Special Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimsus) Polda Metro Jaya. This three-star jasmine officer with the zodiac sign Capricorn was inaugurated by Kapolda Metro Jaya, Inspector General of Police Karyoto at the Polda Metro Jaya Promoter Building, Wednesday, (12/7) this afternoon.
In his current position, Kombes Pol Ade Safri replaces his senior who was promoted to star, Brigadier General Pol Auliansyah Lubis. A myriad of task challenges immediately confront. The reason is, when the handover of this position, the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro was indeed working on many important matters.

And that is evident from the data collected. Even though he has only been Kapolresta for a lifetime, crime cases in Solo in 2020 fell by 10.05 percent compared to crimes in 2019.
Meanwhile, from the database and the results of the analysis and evaluation (anev) for 2020, there were 707 cases handled by the police. Of that number, 474 cases or 62 percent of cases were completed in accordance with applicable legal regulations.
Based on data tracing, there were a number of major cases that were successfully uncovered by this officer who graduated from the 1996 Wira Satya Police Academy Battalion while on duty in Solo.
The first case that was revealed was an act of intolerance and violence in Mertodranan, Solo City, in mid-2020.
The homework at the beginning of his position was successfully completed with the arrest of 12 perpetrators who have now been sentenced.
Then the disclosure of the case of Wonogiri police officers who became the backing of extortion and was successfully secured by the Resmob Satreskrim Polresta Solo team. This is also proof of the ‘fangs’ of Kombes Pol Ade Safri as the Kapolresta Solo who does not discriminate in upholding justice.
Then there was also the case of the brutal shooting of a Toyota Alphard car in Solo with the perpetrator Lukas Jayadi on Jalan Monginsidi, Gilingan, Banjarsari, Banjarsari District.
And amazingly, only within 2 hours of the shooting, the perpetrator was arrested at an intercity bus agent.
Another major case that has also been resolved is the persecution of the Student Regiment Basic Training Education (Menwa Education) at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS).
In this case, two people have become suspects and have received a judge’s verdict, April 2021.
It is undeniable that various cases, both drugs, general crimes and prosecutions No Day Without Raids (THTR) for the perpetrators of social ills (pekat) at that time it was strictly and seriously carried out.
