KN. Gajah Laut -404 Bakamla RI Arrives in North Minahasa from the Philippines

KN. Gajah Laut-404 commanded by Letkol Bakamla Agus Tri Haryanto arrived in North Minahasa, Indonesia from DPWH Wharf Harbor, Panacan, Davao City, Philippines.

North Minahasa — Ending a series of working visits to the Philippines, KN. Gajah Laut-404 commanded by Letkol Bakamla Agus Tri Haryanto returned to Indonesia and arrived in North Minahasa, Monday, (27/11).

Before departing for Indonesia, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) first held a release ceremony for KN. Elephant Sea-404 led by Commander Coast Guard District Southeastern Mindanao CG Commodore Rejard V Marfe, at DPWH Wharf Harbor, Panacan, Davao City, Philippines.

Before parting with PCG personnel, Commander KN. Gajah Laut-404 Letkol Bakamla Agus Tri Haryanto expressed his thanks to all PCG personnel for their warm welcome.

“During 5 days in Davao City, we felt comfortable like at home,” he said.

Furthermore, he also hopes that this good relationship will continue to be maintained, in order to realize maritime security in the area around the two countries. Moreover, both have the same duties and functions.

Not to forget, Letkol Bakamla Agus Tri Haryanto also expressed his hope that the PCG could visit the Indonesian Bakamla Headquarters and carry out joint activities, both maritime security and safety training, as well as joint patrols. Bembo
