Jakarta – Kapolri General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo transferred the positions of six kapolda’s. One of them is the Kapolda Jawa Timur.
This position transfer was stated in the telegram letter ST/2360/X/KEP./2023, which was published on Saturday (14/10). The telegram letter was signed by the Assistant Chief of Police for Human Resources, Inspector General Pol Dedi Prasetyo, on behalf of the Chief of Police.
“Position transfers are a natural process in organizations, in order to improve performance, promotion in the career development system, tour of duty and area, and in order to prepare for initial election security,” said Dedi to journalists, Saturday, (14/10) evening.
In a telegram letter, Kapolda Jawa Timur Irjen Pol Toni Harmanto was transferred due to his retirement. The Kapolri appointed Irjen Pol Imam Sugianto as his replacement.
Irjen Pol Imam previously served as Kapolda of East Kalimantan (Kaltim). The position of Kapolda Kaltim was then given to Irjen Pol Nanang Avianto. Bembo
