Jakarta – Kapolri Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo led the handover ceremony (Sertijab) of Banten Regional Police Chief (Kapolda) at the Rupatama Building at National Police Headquarters, Jakarta on Friday, (24/11).
As is known, the Kapolri transferred a number of high-ranking officers via telegram letter ST/2360/X/KEP./2023, which was published on Saturday, (14/10). And one of them is the mutation of the Kapolda Banten.
Kabid Humas of the Polda Banten, Kombes Pol Didik Hariyanto, confirmed that today the Kapolri led the handover of the position of Kapolda Banten.
“Today, Friday, (24/11) at around 13.00 WIB, the Kapolri led the handover of the position of Kapolda from Irjen Pol Prof. Dr. Rudy Heriyanto to Irjen Pol Abdul Karim,” said Kombes Pol Didik.
“Irjen Pol Prof. Dr. Rudy Heriyanto has served as Kapolda Banten since January 5 2021 and received a new position as Pati Bareskrim Polri in preparation for external structural assignments. And Irjen Pol Abdul Karim, who previously served as Karokorwas PPNS Bareskrim Polri was appointed as Kapolda Banten,” he added.
He also said that this position transfer was in order to improve performance and prepare for election security.
