Jakarta – Kapolri General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo inaugurated Komjen Pol Agus Andrianto to become Wakapolri. Previously, Komjen Pol Agus served as Kabareskrim Polri. He replaces Komjen Pol Gatot Eddy Pramono who has retired.
“Yes, that’s right, (the inauguration procession took place) from 13.00 to 14.00 WIB,” said Karo Penmas Divhumas Polri Brigadier General Pol Ahmad Ramadhan when asked for confirmation, Monday (3/7).
It was said, the inauguration was attended by key officials (PJU) of the National Police Headquarters. The regional police chiefs also watched firsthand at the Rupatama Building at the National Police Headquarters, South Jakarta.
“Attended by the Kapolri and all the main Police Officers and the Regional Police Chiefs,” he said.

Today’s inauguration, continued Brigadier General Ramadhan, was only made for the Wakapolri. Meanwhile, the PJU for the National Police Headquarters and the other Regional Police Heads will be held separately.
The decision of the Kapolri General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo to appoint Kabareskrim Komjen Pol Agus Andrianto as the Wakapolri was stated in a telegram (TR) Number ST/1393/VI/KEP./2023 dated 24 June 2023. The TR with the ordinary classification was signed directly by the Kapolri General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo .
“Komjen Pom Prof. Dr. Gatot Eddy Pramono, M.Si NRP 65060657 Wakapolri has been transferred as the head of the National Police Headquarters (for retirement),” said the TR.
