“We have placed personnel in ring 1, ring 2 and ring 3 in the outer sector of the entrance and exit to the GBK area as well as in the parking pockets,” said Kapolres Susatyo.
He also said, that it was predicted that traffic flow would still run normally because the debate location was in the GBK area. Therefore, traffic engineering schemes such as road closures have not been prepared in detail because they are situational.
“To close or divert traffic flow, we will look at the dynamics of the situation on the ground. We also want people who are carrying out their activities around the GBK area to not be disturbed,” said Kapolres Susatyo.
According to the rules of the game made by the KPU, the number of supporters for each Cawapres candidate in the debate event has been limited. Only invitations can enter.
“The number of candidate candidate supporters has been limited. The rules and regulations have been regulated by the KPU. We just need to carry out the technical security,” Kapolres Susatyo said again.
“We are always ready to provide security for all activities in the Central Jakarta area, including the active vice presidential debate tonight. We also emphasize to all members to carry out their duties persuasively and serve humanely. We ask for support and cooperation from all parties so that tonight’s debate can run in an orderly manner and safe,” he added, ending the statement. Bembo
