DIY – The Kapolda of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), Inspector General of Police Suwondo Nainggolan confirmed that the legal process for the death of a Gunungkidul resident due to a police gun that erupted went according to regulations.
As is known, a resident of Gunungkidul, Aldi Aprianto (19), died after being shot by a bullet from the gun of First Brigadier MK (27), while watching dangdut at Padukuhan Wuni, Nglindur Village, Girisubo, Gunungkidul. Sunday, (14/5) evening.
“Yes, it was released yesterday that the criminal investigation was already underway and the internal investigation was also underway. Currently, the person concerned (Briptu MK) has been detained for general crimes,” said the Kapolda Suwondo when met by journalists at Padukuhuhan Wuni, Tuesday, (16/5) yesterday.
“Then we will examine it soon to get certainty and also the trial process,” he added.
The Kapolda Suwondo said, from the reports that came to him, the shot that killed Aldi was due to the negligence of the Girisubo Police.
“Right now it’s negligence. The last time I spoke with the Direskrimum, I saw the report was still negligent,” said the two-star general who had graduated from the Single Battalion Panaluan Akpol 1994.
Separately, Aldi’s parents expressed their hope that the perpetrators of their son’s shooting would receive the fairest possible punishment.
“The important thing is that we ask for justice as fair as possible,” said Aldi’s father, Ngatiyo when met by journalists at his house.
Ngatiyo completely handed over this legal case to the authorities. As a lowly citizen, he only hopes that this case can be resolved quickly.
