Jakarta – Polrestro Jaksel officers raided three drugstores that were going to sell G-list hard drugs without a distribution permit or illegal and psychotropics in the South Jakarta area.
List G drugs or in Dutch it is called Gevaarlijk are hard drugs whose use must be based on a doctor’s prescription. This was stated in the Decree of the Minister of Health Number 02396/A/SK/VIII/1989.
“They sell the drug to teenagers (ABG),” said Head of the South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Research Unit, Police Commissioner Achmad Ardhy in a written statement, Wednesday, (21/6).
The three shops are the Ibu Prayer Shop 1 and the Malaka Shop in Kemang and the Ibu Prayer Shop 2 in Duren Tiga. At the three locations, according to Ardhy, the police confiscated 296 drugs containing psychotropics and 4,957 drugs on the G list which were later used as evidence.
The types of psychotropic drugs that will be sold are aprazolam, dumolid, esilgen, diazepam, sanax, and lorazepam. Then for the G list drugs are hexymer, tramadol, and trihexyphenidyl.
Ardhy said that three perpetrators had been arrested, namely AA, B and RK. The perpetrators sell hard drugs without a distribution permit secretly to avoid the police.
“This raid is in accordance with the orders of the Head of the Metro Jaya Police Chief to eradicate illegal hard drugs which are causing harm due to rampant brawls and street crimes,” he emphasized. Bembo
