Jakarta – Kapolda Metro Jaya Inspector General Pol Karyoto accompanied by the Head of the Kramat Jati Police Hospital Brigadier General Pol Hariyanto mourned the Kapolsek Jatinegara Kompol Entong Raharja at the Kramat Jati Hospital Funeral. The deceased died after carrying out the Dhuhr prayer, Tuesday, (8/8) yesterday.
Upon arrival at the funeral home, Kapolda Karyoto immediately met the Entong Raharja family to express his condolences in person.
The Head of Public Relations of the Jatinegara Police, Aiptu Rina, revealed that the incident started when Kompol Entong finished carrying out the Dhuhur prayers. After that he continued to pray two cycles of the Dhuhur ba’diah. During the second cycle of prayer, Kompol Entong suddenly fell backwards.
“After carrying out the obligatory prayers, he continued the sunnah prayers. After only one cycle of sunnah prayers, he fell backwards, hitting his head on the tile,” said Aiptu Rina.
During the incident, continued Aiptu Rina, the witness at the location was able to provide assistance to Kompol Entong to be taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital. On the way, Kompol Entong was seen still breathing.
“On the way to the hospital, the witness saw that the Kapolsek was still breathing. There was loud snoring,” said Aiptu Rina.
Kompol Entong was finally declared dead by a team of doctors at Kramat Jati Hospital. Based on the results of the diagnosis, Kompol Entong died of a heart attack.
“Based on the doctor’s diagnosis, Kompol Entong died of a heart attack,” explained Aiptu Rina.
