Jakarta – Kapolda Metro Jaya Inspector General Pol Karyoto gave a warning to the Polres and staff not to play games in dealing with drug trafficking cases.
If any Polres are found that are not serious about handling drug cases within the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya, Kapolda Karyoto firmly calls for them to be reported to the center immediately.
“Don’t be afraid to report it immediately. We are also grateful to the public who have provided a lot of information, for example, for example, the X Police are not serious about dealing with drug dealer bosses,” he said to the media crew at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Tuesday, (27/6).
Kapolda Karyoto also admitted that he had received complaints related to drug cases like this. However, he was reluctant to say which Polres he meant.
“What is clear is that these complaints will be handled and followed up seriously,” he said.
“There is a lot of (information) coming to me and we are forwarding it to Propam. And hopefully it can be carried out according to the facts. If it is not a hoax, it must be followed up according to the facts,” Kapolda Karyoto emphasized. Bembo
