Surabaya – Kapolda Jawa Timur, Irjen Pol Pol Imam Sugianto ordered all ranks in the Polda Jawa Timur to maintain neutrality in overseeing the 2024 Election. Never violate neutrality because the sanctions that await are quite severe.
“We must be firm that the Polri are neutral and professional in securing and overseeing the 2024 elections. We must remain careful of irresponsible parties who want to find fault with us,” said Kapolda Imam to journalists recently.
“Stay focused on the task and we will show that the Police can carry out their duties well,” he added.
Furthermore, Kapolda Imam also reminded all personnel, especially the Polda Jawa Timur, to continue to follow the Kapolri’s directions during Operation Mantap Brata.
“The Polri must not take part in practical politics.
