Kakorlantas Polri: Part of Regident PNBP Revenue Purchased 1,262 Operational Vehicles

Head of the Indonesian Police Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas), Inspector General of Police Firman Shantyabudi.

Jakarta – The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police showed positive performance in terms of Non-Tax State Revenue or PNBP last year. That was the statement by the Kakorlantas Polri,  Inspector General of Police Firman Shantyabudi during a hearing with Commission III of the DPR RI.

In the data submitted by the Kakorlantas Polri, the achievement of PNBP from registration and identification or regident in 2022 is more than Rp8 trillion for 2022 or 105.42 percent of the target set.

“There are nine regident material components that exceed the target of 100 percent namely STNK, BPKB, TNKB, driver’s license renewal, mutation, and selected motorized vehicle registration numbers,” he said, quoted by topikonline.co.id from the DPR RI YouTube page, Thursday, (6/ 7).

According to Inspector General Pol Firman, there are several things that make it possible to bypass the PNBP regident target. The first is the policy of eliminating motor vehicle tax fines, which are applied in various regions.

“Regarding the SIM extension, because people care more about extending their SIM, because the process is easier and simpler,” he said.

Inspector General Pol Firman acknowledged that part of the income from the regident PNPB was used to procure 1,262 operational and supporting vehicles.

“The capital expenditure budget of Rp2,535,166,793,000 is used for the procurement and development of IT, as well as facilities and infrastructure for the National Police Traffic Corps,” he said. Bembo
