Depok – Perum Perumnas awarded the Head of the Depok City Land Office (Kakantah), Indra Gunawan, an award. The award was given as a form of Perum Perumnas’s highest appreciation for the issuance of the Perum Perumnas certificate for the Pondok Cina Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Project.
Perum Perumnas The Pondok Cina TOD Project is one of the housing projects developed by Perum Perumnas in Depok City. The construction process for this project also stopped after the groundbreaking on October 2 2017.
The TOD project is a project that integrates housing with public transportation, especially trains to improve the quality of life of the community. Through this project, it is hoped that people can live in comfortable, safe and affordable housing, and avoid traffic jams and air pollution.
The issuance of the Perum Perumnas certificate for the Pondok Cina TOD Project is also the result of a neat collaboration between Perum Perumnas and the Depok City Land Office (Kantah).
The project certification process began with a signing by the Main Director of Perum Perumnas Budi Saddewa Soediro. After being signed, it was handed over by the Intermediate Project Manager of RSKA Pondok Cina Semesta Mahata Margonda, Ahmad Baihaqi to the Depok City Land Office, last Wednesday, (22/11).
“I guarantee that the Pondok Cina TOD project certificate issued by the Depok City Land Office will provide legal certainty and protection for home buyers in the project,” said Indra Gunawan at that time.
Work Flexibility
Honestly, the issuance of the Pondok Cina TOD project certificate can be considered as proof of Indra Gunawan’s work flexibility. Moreover, he has not even been a commander in Kantah, Depok City, for less than a year.
Indra Gunawan’s flexibility in work is undeniably the effect of his previous work. Before landing in Kantah Depok City, as is known, Indra Gunawan served in the Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of ATR/BPN. There he was trusted to serve as Head of the Publication and Inter-Agency Relations (PHAL) Section.
These duties and positions inevitably mean that he spends almost every day with the Minister of ATR/BPN Hadi Tjahjanto. Not just accompanying him, but also acting as a lobbyist for the ATR/BPN Ministry to the parties.
This is where Indra’s flexible work abilities were honed. And Kantah Depok City is the first terminal to experience and enjoy this capability.

It was recorded that the first evidence of this was when Indra Gunawan had only been approved as Kakantah of Depok City for a few hours in February 2023. As a new commander, it was unexpected that he was immediately faced with a mass demonstration in front of Kantah Depok City.
But he didn’t feel surprised or even avoided it. On the contrary, he immediately approached the demonstrators and invited them to an audience. The lobbying skills he honed during his 8 months as Head of PHAL were immediately put into practice. And it’s proven to work. From the audience meeting, he came to know and understand the issues he was complaining about. And as a conclusion, at that very moment he immediately guaranteed to quickly resolve the problems demanded by the demonstrators.
“The first time I entered Depok, I was immediately held in a demonstration. In fact, I had only been in office for a few hours. However, that is the face of our democracy. The demonstration occurred because of blocked communication. The proof is that until now no one has demonstrated again,” said Indra Gunawan. Bembo
