Jakarta – Facing the challenges of increasingly complex tasks and the dynamics of the developing situation and facing the political year 2024, the Head of the Information Center (Kapuspen) TNI, Mayjen TNI Nugraha Gumilar, took the initiative held a dialogue on TNI neutrality in the 2024 Election, at the Puspen TNI Journalist Hall, TNI Headquarters, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, Wednesday, (10/1).
In this dialogue, the Kapuspen TNI invited the Panglima’s TNI Assistant Intelligence Officer, Dansatsiber TNI, Kadispen Force, and TNI Puspen Officer with participants from a number of IT experts. Acting as resource persons for the dialogue were the General Chair of the FTII (General Chair of the Indonesian Information Technology Federation) Andi Budimansyah and Prof. DR. Ir. Rikhardus Eko Indrajit, M.Sc., MBA., M.Phil., MA.
The Kapuspen TNI said, that in its 100 day work program the Puspen TNI fully supports the TNI PRIMA (Professional, Responsive, Integrative, Modern and Adaptive) concept. The Puspen TNI will also become a professional information center and master and control information for the purposes of achieving the TNI’s main tasks.
“In this dialogue, collaboration between TNI Information and FTII is needed to minimize negative news in the hope of creating a peaceful 2024 election so that the Republic of Indonesia remains intact,” said the Kapuspen TNI.
He also explained, that the issue that is currently developing is dividing unity and integrity by trying to pit the TNI and the people against each other. This then built an opinion that made netizens start to doubt the TNI’s neutrality in the 2024 elections.
“People should never doubt. A PRIMA TNI was born from the people, by the people and for the people. The TNI is at the forefront together with the people to protect the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia,” said Kapuspen TNI.
