Jakarta – In the aftermath of the tengil style inactive Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Firli Bahuri, who did not appear for the follow-up investigation, Polda Metro Jaya began to show its fangs by preparing a warrant for Firli’s arrest. Firli should have been re-examined as a suspect on Thursday, (21/12) at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit. However, for no apparent reason, he did not show the bridge of his nose.
Firli’s tengil style has honestly made the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Karyoto, furious. Because of this, Kapolda Karyoto immediately took firm steps ordering his staff to send a second summons accompanied by a warrant to arrest Firli if he still had a lot of styles and tengil.
“Yes, there is an order to bring, the second summons is followed by a warrant to bring. The usual thing is a second summons. We have also prepared a warrant to bring,” said Kapolda Karyoto to reporters at Monas, Central Jakarta, Thursday, (21/12) .
Kapolda Karyoto also said he would coordinate with Dirreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Ade Safri Simanjuntak. If in the future Firli remains stubborn and ignores many of his styles, Kapolda Karyoto emphasized that there will be forced pick-up or arrest.
“As for the first summons, today we will attach the first summons by sending the second summons again and a warrant to bring it will have been prepared. If that is not heeded, we will definitely issue an arrest warrant,” said Kapolda Karyoto.
As is known, since was named a suspect, Firli has been questioned twice, namely on Friday, December 1 2023, and Wednesday, December 6 2023. Even though this case was investigated by Polda Metro Jaya, Firli underwent examination at the Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
During the two examinations, Firli still walked freely. Now, get ready, Firli, because Polda Metro Jaya has prepared an arrest warrant.
Firli Bahuri previously also fought against being named a suspect by filing a pre-trial hearing. But the single judge at the South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel) stated that the application could not be accepted or rejected.
On a different occasion, Firli, through his attorney, Ian Iskandar, argued that his client could not come because he was having important activities. However, he did not explain what activities he meant.
“Today there are activities and the time is the same, so we can’t attend. Yesterday we sent a letter requesting a postponement of the examination directly to the Polda investigators,” reasoned Ian.
“Essentially, there are very urgent activities that we cannot convey. We have submitted a request for his resignation to the Polda investigators and we can understand that. Then, today he has many activities, one of which may be attending the Dewas examination,” he continued.
It is known that the KPK Supervisory Board (Dewas) is awaiting Firli’s presence regarding the ethics trial which was held on Thursday, (21/12) yesterday. However, until the ethics trial finished at 16.15 WIB, the bridge of Firli’s nose remained invisible. Bembo
