Jakarta – The Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) Polda Metro Jaya has prepared a traffic engineering formula to welcome the event Jakarta E-prix 2023 (Formula E), Saturday, (3/6) tomorrow.
The three engineering formulas prepared are the green, yellow and red categories.
Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya , Kombes Pol Latif Usman said, Traffic is categorized as green if vehicles are still accommodated in parking pockets in Ancol. Meanwhile, traffic circulation inside and outside Ancol is running normally.
Then traffic is categorized as yellow if the parking bag in Ancol is full, and part of the road in Ancol is used as a parking location. This includes if there is a queue at the entrance to the Ancol area, a radius of 100-500 meters.
“If a yellow situation occurs, traffic will be diverted at every entrance to Ancol, Parangtritis intersection, Hailay Bridge, Bintang Mas Traffic Light, Pasir Putih Traffic Light and the PLTU Bridge to the carnival gate,” Latif Usman told the media crew, Friday, (2/6).
“Then for parking it will be directed to a reserve parking pocket (around Kemayoran). Meanwhile, from the toll road, the West Ancol exit is closed, diverted to Kemayoran,” he added.
He also said, if a red situation occurs, traffic engineering will be carried out. Engineering This happens when the parking area in the Ancol area is full, and some roads in Ancol have been used as parking locations.
In addition, traffic engineering is also carried out if there is a queue that piles up at the entrance to the Ancol area. Meanwhile, the reserve parking area outside the Ancol area is full.
“The roads around the Ancol area (Lodan Raya, RE. Martadinata) are already jammed, traffic circulation is not moving, the congestion radius is 1 kilometer,” said Latif Usman.
The following is a traffic engineering formula prepared for the electric car Formula E race event at JIEC, Ancol, North Jakarta:
1. Divert traffic at: every Ancol entrance, Parangtritis intersection, Hailay bridge, Bintang Mas Traffic Light, Mangga Dua Traffic Light, Pasir Putih Traffic Light, Goyang Bridge, and PLTU Bridge towards the carnival gate.
2. From the direction of Penjaringan: divert at the Parangtritis intersection, turn right back to Penjaringan or Kampung Bandan, towards Tamansari.
3. From the direction of Gunung Sahari: divert to the left onto Jalan Mangga Dua Raya, Central Jakarta.
4. From the direction of Kemayoran: turn around at the Kemayoran Roundabout or enter the Kemayoran Toll Road or to Kampung Pademangan Timur.
5. From the direction of Tanjung Priok: RE Martadinata-Gunung Sahari.
6. From the toll road: the West Ancol exit is closed and the East Ancol exit is closed.
7. From the direction of the airport: directed to exit the Tanjung Priok Toll Road, Jalan Yos Sudarso, Jalan Enggano-RE Martadinata or post 6 turn around and enter at Tanjung Priok 2 Toll Gate or turn around in front of the Police Headquarters entering the Kebon Bawang Gate.
