Jakarta – Polda Metro Jaya slaughtered 457 cows and 545 goats which became sacrificial animals on Eid al-Adha 1444 H in 2023.
The symbolic sacrifice of the sacrificial animals was carried out. Deputy Head of Polda Metro Jaya, Brigadier General Pol Suyudi Ario Seto after the Eid prayer. All the meat of the slaughtered qurban animals will be distributed to the people within the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya.
“Through this qurban worship, we are following in the footsteps of Prophet Ibrahim AS in sacrificing something of value for the sake of obedience to Allah SWT,” said Brigjen Pol Suyudi to the media crew, Thursday, (29/6).
“This activity is also a concrete manifestation of our love and piety to Allah SWT which requires us to set aside some of the assets that have been bestowed upon us in order to foster a sense of solidarity by sharing with fellow believers in need,” he continued.
Furthermore, Brigjen Pol Suyudi also invites the public to make the momentum of this Eid al-Adha holiday to strengthen brotherhood and help each other.
“Let’s the momentum of this Eid al-Adha holiday to strengthen the sense of brotherhood among fellow Muslims,” he said.
