Jakarta – The Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) Polda Metro Jaya implemented a temporary traffic diversion at a number of points in Jakarta, today, Thursday, (10/8). This temporary diversion is the effect of the labor demonstrations that took place in the Horse Statue area and the Central Jakarta Parliament building.
“Avoid around the Monas and the State Palace. Avoid traffic congestion, there are active expressions of opinion in public from 09.00 to 21.00 WIB,” as quoted from the official TMC Polda Metro Jaya Twitter account, Thursday, (10/8).
“People should use other alternative roads,” continued the narration of TMC Polda Metro Jaya.
The following are the temporary traffic flow diversions imposed today:
1. Traffic flow from the HI direction to Jl Merdeka Barat is diverted to Jl Budi Kemuliaan or Jl Merdeka Selatan.
2. The traffic flow from Tugu Tani to Jl Merdeka Utara was diverted to Jl Perwira (situational).
3. The traffic flow from Jl Hayam Wuruk towards Jl Majapahit or Jl Merdeka Utara was diverted to Jl Juanda or Jl Suryopranoto.
4. Traffic flow to Jl Veteran I, Veteran II, Veteran III is diverted to Jl Suryopranoto or Jl Gajah Mada.
5. Jl Abdul Muis to Jl Gajah Mada diverted to Jl Tanah Abang Satu.
6. The flow of traffic going to Jl Merdeka Selatan and Jl Merdeka Barat is diverted to the Budi Kemuliaan Traffic Light. Bembo
