Jakarta – The Samapta Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya held a rally to check the security equipment for Operation Mantap Brata 2023/2024 in the field in front of the Ditreskrimsus, last Thursday, (25/1) morning. The rally was held as a form of preparation for the personnel who will be deployed to secure voting stations (TPS) in the 2024 Election at various points in the DKI Jakarta area and its surroundings.
In this rally, checks were more focused on preparing equipment for crowd control (dalmas) carried by personnel such as shields, sticks, dalmas clothing equipped with tear gas throwing devices and other equipment related to dalmas. This includes personal equipment for personnel such as backpacks, veltbeds, t-shirts, towels and toiletries.
Director of Samapta Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ahmad Zaenudin in his statement explained, that this inspection roll call was a manifestation of the readiness of his personnel to work in the field. Moreover, they will continue to be on duty for between 3 and 5 days providing security for the 2024 elections
“I want the personnel to be truly ready to work in the field. Don’t leave any equipment or equipment behind. Including raincoats or ponchos because now it’s the rainy season,” he said.
According to him, an apple like this will be held again along with other functions between January 30 or 31. The implementation of the combined roll call for the readiness of equipment and personnel on duty will be led directly by the Kapolda Metro Jaya or the Wakapolda Metro Jaya.
“Ditsamapta Polda Metro Jaya is making these preparations from now on. So we will know if there is something that is not immediately complete during the joint roll call later. I want the personnel to be truly ready to carry out their duties in the field,” he emphasized. Bembo
