Jakarta – The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) Polda Metro Jaya quickly responded to a report against Rocky Gerung regarding his statement which allegedly insulted President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Investigators will summon a number of experts to explore the criminal elements in this report regarding Rocky Gerung.
“Searching for and finding an incident that is suspected of being a crime in order to determine whether or not an investigation can be carried out according to the method stipulated in the law,” said the Director of Special Criminal Investigation for Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Safri Simanjuntak to the media crew, Thursday, (3 /8).
“One of them is coordinating and clarifying with experts (criminal experts, linguists, legal sociologists, ITE experts and other experts),” he continued.
Furthermore, Kombes Pol Ade Safri said that his party would also clarify the reporters and witnesses regarding the case being reported.
For information, at Polda Metro Jaya itself there are 3 police reports related to the same case. The first report was made by Lisman Hasibuan from United Indonesia Volunteers. The report has been registered with the number LP/B/4459/VII/2023/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya, dated July 31, 2023. Not only Rocky Gerung, in this case Refly Harun was also policed because Rocky’s statement was uploaded on his YouTube channel.
PDIP politician Ferdinand Hutahaean also reported Rocky Gerung and Refly Harun. Ferdinand’s report has been registered under the number LP/B/4465/VIII/2023/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya dated August 1, 2023.
It didn’t stop there, the third report was made by a PDIP wing organization called Volunteers for Democracy Struggle (Repdem). The report was registered with the number LP/B/4504/VIII/2023/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya dated August 2, 2023. In this report, only Rocky Gerung was arrested. Bembo
