Jakarta – The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) Polda Metro Jaya has taken over the alleged fraud case of the Jombingo application in Depok.
“We took it over for the effectiveness of handling the case. For the LP at the Depok Police, it will be withdrawn to the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya,” said Dirreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak to the media crew, Wednesday (19/7).
Kombes Pol Ade said that the case would be handled by Sub Directorate II Fiscal, Monetary and Foreign Exchange (Fismondev).
“It is handled as one with the LP handled by investigators at Sub Directorate II Fismondev,” he said.
Previously, Polda Metro Jaya had investigated the alleged fraud case of the Jombingo application worth tens of millions of rupiah.
There were two victims who reported the fraud, namely Nuraini and Esa Nirwana.
For Nuraini, she suffered a loss of Rp37.8 million and has reported it to the Depok Police. Meanwhile, Esa Nirwana reported to Polda Metro Jaya with a loss of Rp4.5 million.
Kombes Pol Ade said that currently his party is also checking the permits for PT Bingoby Digital Kreasi regarding the report.
