Jakarta – Directorate Traffic (Ditlantas) Polda Metro Jaya is investigating a viral video showing a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport with a National Police number plate recklessly on the toll road leading to Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), North Jakarta. The vehicle is being searched for.
“Still under investigation,” said Kasat of PJR Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, Kompol Sutikno to the media crew, Monday, (31/7).
To note, currently viral on social media Mitsubishi Pajero Sport with a reckless Police number plate on the toll road towards Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta.
In the circulating video, the Pajero turns on the strobe and hazard lights and it is narrated that it endangers other motorists.
The video recorder recounts that the incident occurred on Friday (28/7) at around 07.05 WIB.
“At around 07.05 WIB, he showed an arrogant action by forcing him to enter the fast lane, with a very dangerous maneuver,” wrote the video recorder.
“Then the convoy continued in the middle lane, and repeated the action to the Hyundai Stargazer MPV car in front of me,” he added.
The Pajero is narrated as escorting the Camry car. Not only that, the Pajero car intimidated other vehicles, namely the Hyundai Stargazer MPV car which was behind it.
“And the Toyota Camry sedan that was escorted drove fast in front leaving the Pajero behind,” he said.
“Finally we split up at the PIK straight intersection and Prof Soedyatmo’s exit. That day I did not have time to report it to the relevant authorities, and finally decided to bring this incident to social media,” explained the video recorder in his narration. Bembo
