Jakarta – Director of the Water and Air Police (Dirpolairud) Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Joko Sadono reminded his staff to always act humanely when carrying out their duties, especially towards residents on the coast. Each personnel is obliged to maintain close communication with all components of society.
“The water police who have responsibilities along the waters, coasts or even the islands of the Seribu Islands, we always deal with diverse communities. Moreover, coastal communities are fishing communities. We know for ourselves that the level of community education. Of course, we hope that we can communicate well and can position ourselves so that we get sympathy when on duty,” explained Kombes Pol Joko Sadono, last Wednesday, (17/1).
It was said, that Polda Metro Jaya Dirpolairud personnel were also obliged to carry out their duties by involving many members of the public. This aims to ensure that communication that has been built for a long time can be maintained closely.
“For this reason, the ranks are asked to build good communication, especially ahead of the 2024 elections. This aims to ensure harmony and prevent things that are not good in the implementation of the democratic party which will be held in less than a month,” he emphasized.
“We can carry out our duties well because none of our tasks will be successful without help from the community. If our friendship is not good, of course don’t expect our task to be successful,” he added, ending the statement. Bembo
