Jakarta – The Directorate of Community Development (Ditbinmas) Polda Metro Jaya asked that religious communities in Jakarta participate in maintaining harmony ahead of the 2024 General Election.
This was conveyed by the Director of Binmas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Badya Wijaya in a seminar with the theme ‘Strategic Efforts to Maintain Religious Harmony in the Framework of Realizing Democratic, Peaceful and Conducive 2024 Elections’ at the Grand Sahid Hotel, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, (6/6) yesterday.
“My appreciation for maintaining religious harmony, and let’s maintain it, we will improve it, still invite residents, both at the mosque, at the church, at the monastery, at the temple, to maintain unity despite differences in choices,” said the three jasmine officers who graduated from the Dhira Brata Battalion of the Police Academy 1990.
Furthermore, he also invited religious leaders to invite their respective congregations to use their right to vote during the 2024 General Election (Election).
“Use your right to vote and invite the congregation and don’t abstain from voting (not voting),” said Kombes Pol Badya.
Furthermore, he also asked the religious community to continue to assist the police in maintaining security and public order.
