Jakarta – Head of the Operations Bureau (Karo Ops) of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Tory Kristianto accompanied by Wakapolres Metro Jakarta Timur, AKBP Burhanuddin carried out efforts to cool the system by visiting the Satkamling Post at Rw 02, Balekambang, Kramat Jati, Jakarta Timur
, Wednesday, (10/1) night.
This visit is part of the steps taken by Polda Metro Jaya to implement the 2023-2024 Nusantara Cooling System Operation. The aim of this operation is to prevent the spread of fake news that could affect community unity. Within the framework of this operation, there is also a task force that will monitor activities related to money politics and maintain stability during the 2024 elections.
During his visit, Karo Ops Polda Metro Jaya revealed that the role of religious leaders (toga), community leaders (tomas) and parents as well as the 3 Pillars was very much needed to prevent and overcome disturbances in the security of public order (kamtibmas).
He also said, that the Polri had prepared teams and equipment from the Brimob and Sat Sabhara units as well as other functions to serve and help the community create a safe security and social security situation conducive to the 2024 elections running smoothly.
Furthermore, Karo Ops Polda Metro Jaya also said that every RW is required to have a Kamling Post.
“There must be a Kamling Post in every RW. This is to maintain the safety of local residents,” he said.
“Aside from being a place to maintain environmental security, the Kamling Post is also a place to connect and socialize between one community and another,” he continued.
During this visit, Karo Ops Polda Metro Jaya and Wakapolres Metro Jakarta Timur also provided 29 basic food packages to residents of RW 02 Balekambamg as a form of concern and compassion from the police with local residents.
