Bogor – Chairman of the Bogor Regency DPRD, Rudy Susmanto voiced his hope and confidence in the Kapolres Bogor, AKBP Iman Imanuddin. He expressed this hope and belief regarding the legal process that will be carried out by a member of the Bogor Regency DPRD with the initials EK who is now an occupant of the Polres Bogor cell.
EK was detained because of his status as a suspect in a multi-layered case of alleged criminal acts of fraud, embezzlement and or forgery.
Apart from EK, this case also involved the Head of Cibinong Village, Gunung Sindur, with the initials HM.
“We at the Bogor Regency DPRD highly respect the legal process that is currently underway. We will fully hand it over to law enforcement officers at the Polres Bogor,” Rudy told reporters, Monday, (29/5).
“I am also very confident and have high hopes for Dr. Iman Imanuddin as the Kapolres Bogor. He will definitely take a policy according to the regulations in force. We will follow it and will not intervene,” continued the man who also serves as Deputy Secretary General of the Gerindra Party.
For to be known, EK and HM were reported to the Polres Bogor and recorded in report number: LP/B/2327/XII/2022/JBR/RES BOGOR dated 19 December 2022.
Both of them are strongly suspected of being brokers who received payment for the sale and purchase of four plots of land in Cibinong Village, Mount Sindur in the amount of IDR1,787,750,000. The money was handed over by the buyer from PT. Jaya Protindo.
However, it seems that the money was never given by EK and HM to the four land owners. The landowners became angry because they felt cheated and reported the two of them to the Polres Bogor.
Now, both EK and HM are left to contemplate the threat of multiple articles of punishment from investigators, namely 378, 372 and/or 263 of the Criminal Code. Bembo
