Jakarta – Wakapolda Metro Jaya Brigadier General Pol Suyudi Ario Seto representing the Head of Polda Metro Jaya opened the Technical Work Meeting (Rakernis) of Bid Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya together with the Public Relations function of Polda Metro Jaya T.A. 2023 at the Royal Hotel, South Jakarta, Tuesday, (29/8).
This Rakernis has the theme “Precise Polda Metro Jaya Public Relations Bid Ready to Oversee the Stages of the 2024 Election and Securing the 2023 National and International Agenda in the Context of Supporting Increased Productivity for Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Transformation.”
In his remarks, Wakapolda Suyudi appreciated the performance of members of the Bid Humas Polda Metro Jaya who had managed information and reporting well so that they could bring the good name of Polda Metro Jaya.
Suyudi said, “In the near future the 43 ASEAN Summit will be held soon and also the 2024 election stage is getting closer. Of course, the challenges of the tasks, functions and roles of Polda Metro Jaya personnel will increase. The role of good media management is needed so that the news circulating is true and accurate information.”
Wakapolda Suyudi further explained that currently the phenomenon of distortion of information or hoax news that can trigger division, hatred, and even riots and disruption of the Kamtibmas is very rife. Therefore, the role and presence of Polri Public Relations is needed to straighten out this information.
At the end of his remarks, the Wakapolda Suyudi, also expressed his hope for all participants of the Rakernis to really take part in this Rakernis properly so that they could absorb the knowledge provided by the resource persons. He advised all Bid Humas personnel to work sincerely and continue to work in carrying out their duties in their respective units.
