Jakarta – Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto held an audience with the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB), Abdullah Azwar Anas, at the PANRB Ministry Office, Jalan Jenderal Soedirman, South Jakarta, Thursday, (11/1).
The arrival of the Panglima TNI accompanied by the Kasum TNI, the Irjen TNI, the Kapus RB, and other main TNI Headquarters officials was aimed at executing the orders of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. H. Joko Widodo regarding bureaucratic reform within the TNI so that it has more impact, including raising and lowering the rank strata of a high-ranking officer who leads an institution within the TNI. In this meeting, also discussed improving the welfare of soldiers, namely performance allowances (Tunkin).
“The status of the Marine Corps Commander has increased from 2 stars to 3 stars, then RSPAD, Puspomad from 3 stars to 2 stars,” explained Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto.
Furthermore, the Panglima TNI also explained the proposed increase in Tunkin in the TNI from 70% to 80%.
“In addition to the efficiency of the performance system, the TNI will also accelerate the implementation of community welfare programs such as handling stunting, building uninhabitable houses or (RTLH). This program will have an impact on increasing performance and the level of Tunkin provided by the state,” the Panglima TNI said.
On the other hand, Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Abdulllah Azwar Anas said that all processes have now started to run in parallel. The TNI RB value has also increased to 72%. Therefore, according to him, in the near future TNI Tunkin could increase by 80%.
Apart from that, he continued, currently the performance of the TNI itself based on the RB’s assessment has also experienced parallel improvements. Therefore, in the future, internal TNI evaluations will continue to be carried out to look at business processes and performance. The Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform also emphasized that the RB allowance will increase and will be given if there are improvements to business processes.
Furthermore, the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform also encouraged the TNI to shop in the Government’s e-catalog. With increasingly high levels of e-catalog spending, RB’s assessment will also increase.
“The business process then involves improvements to the existing work system in the context of efficiency, including overlapping, and this has been done. So, hopefully we will soon propose something related to the TNI performance allowance process,” stressed the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform. Bembo
