Jakarta – Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto attended the 2024 peace campaign declaration or National Coordination Meeting for Integrated Law Enforcement (Gakkumdu) with the theme “Gakkumdu Guards the Democratic and Dignified 2024 Election” at the Sahid Hotel, Central Jakarta, Monday, (27/11).
This declaration held by Bawaslu and the KPU marks the start of the campaign period starting tomorrow, Tuesday, November 28 2023. The campaign period will be held for 75 days until February 10 2024.
In this declaration, the Panglima TNI and the Kapolri signed the neutrality of the TNI-Polri in securing the 2024 elections and a peace declaration from each presidential and vice presidential candidate, as well as supporting political parties.
The four points of TNI-Polri’s commitment to creating democratic elections in 2024 are:
– Maintain and uphold the principle of neutrality
– Avoid conflicts of interest and actions that benefit or harm one of the election participants
– Jointly make efforts to prevent election violations and money politics
– Synergize with each other to maintain the conducive conduct of elections.
Also present at the Gakumdu National Coordination Meeting was the Kapolri Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates, the Chair of Bawaslu and representatives from each of the Political Parties participating in the Election. Bembo
