Jakarta – Kapolres Tangerang Selatan (Tangsel), AKBP Faisal Febrianto is one of 67 Middle Officers (Pamen) at the level of Kapolres and Unit Head or Kasat who are being rotated by Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
The transfer was written in Telegram Letter Number ST/2864/XII/KEP./2023 which was signed by the Assistant Kapolri for Human Resources, Irjen Pol Dedi Prasetyo on December 29 2023.
AKBP Faisal Febrianto was rotated to become Wadiresnarkoba at Polda Metro Jaya. His position as Kapolres Tangsel will be replaced by AKBP Ibnu Bagus Santoso who holds the position of Head of Unit 4, Sub-Directorate II, Ditpidnarkoba, Bareskrim Polri.
Topikonline.co.id noted, that AKBP Faisal Febrianto has been serving as Kapolres Tangsel since January 14 2023, replacing AKBP Sarly Sollu who was transferred to become Wakapolrestro Jakarta Barat.
In the course of his career, he graduated from the Tantya Sudhirajati Akpol Battalion in 2003 it is also known that he often intervenes to deal with viral cases. For example, the case of beating a debt collector in April 2023 which resulted in the raid on the Polres Tangsel Headquarters. Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Karyoto even intervened to calm the hundreds of people who stormed the Polres Tangsel Headquarters demanding an investigation into the abuse.
Apart from that, there was also the domestic violence case of former drug convict Budyanto Djauhari in July 2023 who was allegedly released after being reported. AKBP Faisal then released it directly by presenting the suspect in front of the media crew.
Even so, there are still a number of cases that have not yet been resolved. Among them are the two most prominent cases related to alleged murder.
The first case was the death of Ponijan, (39), a mobile sekuteng trader on Jalan Bangau RT 005 RW 010, Cempaka Putih, East Ciputat District, on Thursday, April 20 2023 or the day before the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
The unlucky man was found dead from stab wounds from the perpetrator who stole his cellphone.
Second, the brawl case which resulted in the death of a teenager near the railway crossing in Pondok Ranji on September 23 2023. The brawl claimed the life of a young man with the initials MAN, (24).
He died after a brawl at the train gate at Pondok Ranji Station, East Ciputat District. MAN died as a result of being hit by a sharp weapon during a clash between two groups of motorcycle gang youths on Saturday, September 23 2023, at around 04.00 WIB.
Until now, the police have still not succeeded in arresting the perpetrator of the clash. Bembo
