Jakarta – Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimum) Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Wira Satya Triputra conveyed the progress of the investigation into the death of Dante, Tamara Tyasmara’s son, in the swimming pool. The suspect, Yudha Arfandi (YA), Tamara’s lover, is known to have drowned the victim’s head 12 times in the swimming pool.
“Based on CCTV footage that has been examined, YA, Tamara Tyasmara’s lover, performed the scene of drowning Dante’s head in the swimming pool 12 times,” said Kombes Pol Wira at Polda Metro Jaya, Saturday, (10/2).
This incident, continued Kombes Pol Wira, was discovered from the results of an examination of the swimming pool CCTV with a duration of 2 hours and one minute.
“The recording reveals a series of activities of the victim and suspect. So from the summary of the recording, investigators concluded that there was sufficient evidence to identify the suspect and finally an arrest was made,” explained Kombes Pol Wira.
So far, Kombes Pol Wira continued, the police are still revealing the complete CCTV footage by including the Puslabfor digital forensics team.
“We will provide further information. We will include a digital team from Puslabfor, including digital forensics, so that later we will carry out a complete explanation,” he said again.
Meanwhile, regarding the motive for YA’s murder, the police are still investigating.
“It will be investigated further, because we are still investigating the suspect,” said Kombes Pol Wira.
As previously reported, the police named YA as a suspect in the death case of Tamara Tyasmara’s son, Andante Khalif Pramudityo or Dante (6).
YA was named a suspect after the police conducted a case, last Thursday, (8/2).
“Investigators have arrested YA in connection with the death of Ms. Putra’s son. Tamara,” said Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi, last Friday, (9/2).
It was stated that Kombes Pol Ade, YA was detained at his home in the Pondok Kelapa area, East Jakarta, Friday, (9/2).
“The arrest was made in the Pondok Kelapa area, at his house,” he continued.
The suspect YA is currently being detained at the Polda Metro Jaya Detention Center and charged with multiple crimes. He is subject to Article 76C in conjunction with Article 80 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection and/or Article 340 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 338 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 359 of the Criminal Code concerning Murder.
