Jakarta – Polda Metro Jaya deployed 5,111 joint personnel to secure the Grand Campaign activities of the two Presidential Candidates (Capres) which will be held at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) and Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Senayan Jakarta, Saturday, (10/2) tomorrow.
The 5,111 joint personnel will be distributed and placed in two campaign activity locations.
“The 5,111 joint security personnel consist of Polda Metro Jaya, Polres, Kodam Jaya, ranks of the Provincial Government and City Government of DKI Jakarta (Satpol PP, Dishub, Damkar, Dinkes),” said Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Friday, (9/2).
“The number of PAM personnel in JIS is 2,356 people and the number of PAM personnel in GBK is 2,755,” he continued.
It was also explained that to secure tomorrow’s activities, all Polres within Polda Metro Jaya would be involved in guarding and regulating traffic.
“Later in the GBK area from 14:00 WIB to 20:00 WIB there will be a car free day for campaign participants,” said Kombes Pol Ade.
Furthermore, he also appealed to the public to work together to create security, order and smooth traffic (Kamseltibcar Lantas) during the Grand Campaign in DKI Jakarta.
“Let’s create Kamseltibcar Then together. Let us pray together for the realization of security in the 2024 elections,” he said.
“Let’s work together to maintain the unity of the nation, so that we are not divided. We all hope that the 2024 elections will run safely, peacefully and with dignity,” he added.
The following is the traffic flow engineering in the JIS area:
1. Traffic flow from Jalan RE Martadinata, specifically for residential residents and JIS visitors, straight to Bintang Mas.
2. Three-axis traffic flow or more from the direction of Polair turns left towards Jalan Enggano Raya .
3. Three or more axle traffic flows from Jalan Yos Sudarso to Pluit are turned around at the terminal T-junction and return to Yos Sudarso.
4. Traffic flow from the Papanggo Toll Road at the Papanggo T-junction specifically connecting residential areas and JIS visitors.
5. Traffic flow at the Bisma intersection specifically for residential residents and JIS visitors.
6. Traffic flow at the Setivia intersection specifically for JIS residents and visitors.
Traffic flow engineering in the GBK area:
1. Traffic flow from Jalan Gatot Subroto heading to Jalan Pemuda Gate is directed straight towards Slipi.
2. Traffic flow from the direction of Slipi is directed straight towards Semanggi, there is no one heading towards Layang Ladokgi towards Jalan Pemuda Gate .
3. Traffic flow from the Senayan Roundabout towards Jalan Pintu I Senayan will be straightened to Jalan Jenderal Sudirman towards Semanggi.
4. Traffic flow from Jalan Mustopo towards Jalan Asia Afrika is diverted to the right onto Jalan Hang Tuah.
5. Traffic flow from Jalan Patal Senayan 1 heading to Jalan Asia Afrika is diverted to the left onto Jalan Army Student.
6. Traffic flow towards Manggala Wanabakti heading towards Jalan Shooting Field will be straightened to Jalan Army Student. Bembo
