Jakarta – Polda Metro Jaya firmly prohibits the use of brong exhausts in the DKI Jakarta area. The Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of Polda Metro Jaya will take firm action against violators.
“Of course, in accordance with existing laws, we will discipline it. It is not permissible to use exhaust pipes,” said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Latif Usman to journalists, Tuesday, (16/1).
He continued, his party would first give advice to two-wheeled riders not to use exhaust pipes. The reason is, the use of brong exhaust has disturbed public order.
“We will continue to advise the public about the exhaust exhaust problem that it is very disturbing to public order. Especially noise and disturbing public order,” Kombes Pol Latif Usman said.
And if it is found that there are still naughty drivers, the police will immediately take action, including issuing fines.
