Jakarta – Seven members of the Ditresnarkoba Polda Metro who have the status of suspects for abusing drug offenders, DK (38) to death, are threatened with dismissal from the Polri.
The seven members of the National Police are AB, AJ, RP, FE, JA, EP and YP. They violated Article 5, Article 10, Article 11 and Article 12 of Perpol Number 7 of 2022 concerning the Code of Professional Ethics and the Police Code of Ethics Commission and also Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation Number 1 of 2023.
“Dismissal was disrespectful to all violators. Then we will increase the code of ethics trial and we will try to solve this problem as soon as possible,” explained Kabid Propam Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Nursyah Putra to journalists, Saturday, (29/7).
In addition to the code of ethics process, the seven police officers were also processed criminally. While one other person was returned to Propam Polda Metro Jaya for ethical processing.
“For the 7 criminals, they are definitely threatened with dismissal. For one who is returned to Propam, his role will be explored again,” he said.
This case actually involved nine unscrupulous members of the Polda Metro Jaya Ditresnarkoba. The Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya has examined eight police officers in relation to the abuse.
Of the 8 people, one was declared not fulfilling the criminal elements so that the case was handled by Bidpropam Polda Metro Jaya. In addition, there is one more person whose whereabouts are still being sought.
“The Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya has examined eight people. However, those who were convicted were seven people.
