participated in carrying out the Nusantara Cooling System Operation by visiting 2 Islamic boarding schools (ponpes) in Pasuruan, East Java.
“Alhamdulillah, I had the opportunity to visit the Darullughah Wadda’wah (Dalwa) Islamic Boarding School in Pasuruan, East Java,” said Kapolri Listyo Sigit in a post on the Instagram account @listyosigitprabowo, Friday, (29/12).
The Nusantara Cooling System operation is one of the steps taken by the Polri to get closer to the community and ensure that all parties can participate in the democratic process and provide an understanding of the importance of maintaining the security situation during the election.
“This gathering is an effort to cool the system to maintain a conducive situation during the series of stages of the 2024 Election,” said Kapolri Listyo Sigit.
Apart from staying in touch, Kapolri Listyo Sigit and his staff also made a pilgrimage to the grave of the founder of the Dalwa Islamic Boarding School. Apart from that, he also had time to inspect the educational facilities at the Islamic boarding school.
“I also had the opportunity to visit the grave of Al Habib Hasan Baharun, who was the founder of the Dalwa Islamic Boarding School,” he said again.
After the inspection, Kapolri Listyo Sigit did not hesitate to voice his praise for the facilities at the Dalwa Islamic Boarding School. All these quality facilities have been proven to be able to produce quality students both in charity and knowledge.
“Reviewing the complete and adequate educational facilities of the Dalwa Islamic Boarding School is very important to produce student human resources who are superior, have integrity, are competitive and have moral character in order to reap the benefits of the demographic bonus,” said the Kapolri.
After finishing at the Dalwa Islamic Boarding School, Kapolri Listyo Sigit and his replacement staff visited the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School. There, he discussed and left a message to maintain unity and welcome the demographic bonus in Indonesia’s next 100 years.
