Jakarta – Polda Metro Jaya hopes that the panel of judges can provide an objective decision in the pre-trial regarding the determination of suspect Firli Bahuri in the alleged extortion case against former Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL). The agenda for the pretrial decision hearing was to be held at the South Jakarta District Court (PN), Tuesday, (19/12) today.
“We hope, of course, that the Jakarta Selatan District Court will provide a more objective decision because the legal facts are clearly visible and there are already fact witnesses,” said Head of the Legal Division of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Putu Putera Sedana in his statement, Monday, (18/12).
Kombes Pol Putu admitted that his party was optimistic that the pretrial proposed by the inactive KPK Chairman, Firli Bahuri, would be rejected by the panel of judges. His party has also tried as best as possible in the pretrial. As for the results later, his party will submit to the panel of judges the decision of the pre-trial that has been held.
“Yes (optimism was rejected), we prayed. We have done our best. We just have to hand it over to the judicial judge there, of course we ask for prayers and God will provide the best way,” he emphasized. Bembo
