Jakarta – Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto announced the departure of 120 TNI soldiers who are members of the Garuda Contingent Task Force (Konga) MTF XXVIII-O/UNIFIL TA 2023 to Lebanon, Monday, (11/12).
In his release speech held at Kolinlamil Headquarters, North Jakarta, the Panglima TNI expressed his sense of pride when he heard and saw the readiness of the Indonesian Navy.
“I really feel proud of the readiness of our Indonesian Navy to carry out the role of military diplomacy in the international world as part of the UN Peace Force,” said Panglima Agus.
Panglima Agus also said further that the current developments in the global situation, especially the Israeli and Palestinian conflict, have affected stability security in Lebanese waters, both in terms of directly or indirectly. Potency

For your information, the Garuda Contingent Task Force (Konga) MTF XXVIII-O/UNIFIL TA 2023 which consists of three dimensions is led by Marine Lieutenant Colonel (P) Wirastya Haprabu. This task force consists of 32 officers, 51 non-commissioned officers and 20 enlisted men.
There are also TNI women, 16 non crew members, consisting of 4 flight officers (pilot and copilot), 1 flight engineer, 4 air crew, 1 health officer, 1 intelligence officer, 1 psychology officer, 1 information officer, 1 legal officer, 1 Kopaska non-commissioned officer and 1 diving non-commissioned officer.
