Jayapura – Kapolri Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo and Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto carried out social service and health service during a working visit in Jayapura, Papua.
In this health service, free services provided are general practitioners, dentists, specialists, MCU services, laboratory examinations, and distribution of glasses.
Kadiv Humas Polri, Irjen Pol Sandi Nugroho, said that this health service is a form of TNI-Polri synergy in serving the community in the health sector. There are 1,000 people who are targeted for this free health service.
“This is an effort by the TNI-Polri to get closer to the community and invite them to work together to make the 2024 elections safe and peaceful,” said Irjen Pol Sandi Nugroho, Friday, (8/12).
Apart from providing free health services, at this social service event the Panglima TNI and Kapolri also distributed 1,000 basic food packages to the community. It is hoped that this assistance will be useful for people in need.
“This assistance is expected to ease the burden on people in need in the midst of the ongoing national situation, namely the 2024 election stage,” Irjen Pol Sandi Nugroho said.
It is known that Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto and Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit are on a working visit to Papua.
