Jakarta – Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army (KSAD) Jenderal TNI Maruli Simanjuntak, who still doubles as Commander of the Indonesian Army’s Strategic Reserve Command (Pangkostrad), led the handover of positions (sertijab) of Commander of Infantry Division (Pangdivif) 1 Kostrad and Head of the Expert Staff Group (Kapoksahli) Kostrad Commander.
The handover ceremony was held at the Executive Lounge, Kostrad Headquarters, Gambir, Central Jakarta, last Tuesday, (5/12).
The position of Commander of Division 1 Kostrad was handed over from Mayjen TNI Bobby Rinal Makmun to Brigjen TNI Rudi Puruwito who previously served as Deputy Assistant Personnel of the Army Chief of Staff.
Bobby will then serve as Commander of Secapa TNI AD.
Then, the position of Kapoksahli Pangkostrad was handed over from Brigjen TNI Kus Arisena to Brigjen TNI Budi Kusworo who previously served as Kapok Sahli Pangdam IV/Diponegoro.
Furthermore, Kus Arisena will carry out his mandate as Special Staff to the Army Chief of Staff.
In his address, KSAD Jenderal TNI Maruli said, that the handover of this position was an organizational dynamic related to the development of personnel and units.
This is aimed at cadre formation, performance and productivity of the unit as well as career development for the officers concerned.
“I believe that, armed with the skills and experience of previous positions, I will be able to carry out this mandate as well as possible,” said Jenderal TNI Maruli in a Kostrad Information press release, Wednesday, (6/12).
Jenderal TNI Maruli also expressed his gratitude for Bobby and Kus Arisena’s dedication during their tenure.
“Hopefully the experience while serving in the Kostrad unit can be a provision for carrying out duties in a new place,” he said.
For the record, KSAD Jenderal TNI Maruli still doubles as Kostrad Commander. This is because Mayjen TNI Muhammad Saleh Mustafa, who currently serves as Chief of Staff of Kostrad, has not yet carried out the handover of the position of Commander of Kostrad. Bembo
