Jakarta – Former Head of BNPB Letjen TNI (Ret.) Doni Monardo died, Sunday, (3/12) at 17.35 WIB.
“Retired Letjen DR HC Doni Monardo, (Born 10 May 1963) has passed away on Sunday 3 December 2023 at 17.35 WIB,” said Special Staff to the Head of BNPB 2019-2021 Egy Massadiah via WhatsApp message, Sunday, (3/12).
It was reported that Doni Monardo was previously undergoing intensive care at the Siloam Semanggi Hospital (RS), Jakarta. A number of officials visited Doni in hospital, including President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
President Jokowi saw the condition of Doni Monardo who was lying in a treatment bed. Apart from that, President Jokowi also spoke with Doni Monardo’s family and the team of doctors who treated him.
Letjen TNI (Ret.) Doni Monardo is a retired TNI AD who currently serves as General Chair of the TNI-AD Retired Army Association.
During his service, he served as Commander of the Presidential Security Forces (Danpampres), Commander General of Kopassus (Danjen Kopassus), Pangdam III/Siliwangi, and Pangdam XVI/Pattimura. Most recently served as Head of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB). Bembo
