Jakarta – The inactive chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Firli Bahuri, is now a suspect in a case of extortion and gratification. But he rejected the status awarded by investigators from the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya.
As a form of rejection, Firli also filed a pre-trial lawsuit targeting the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Karyoto as the shooting target. The pre-trial duel between Firli Bahuri and Irjen Pol Karyoto will be held at the South Jakarta District Court (PN) on December 11 2023.

Djamaludin emphasized that SYL had communicated directly with Firli when he was caught in a corruption case at the Ministry of Agriculture. He even admitted that he still held key information related to this case. However, he did not want to mention this information so as not to cause a stir.
“In fact, there are other things that we cannot convey in the public space, because we want to ensure that in facing the 2024 elections it remains conducive,” said Djamaludin.
“Don’t cause a commotion in the community, so that our patience can be lost and we will have to issue a red card,” he added.
