Jakarta – The Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of Polda Metro Jaya carried out traffic engineering to avoid vehicle congestion during the 212 Alumni Brotherhood Reunion Munajat event in the Monas area, Saturday (2/12).
Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Latif Usman said that the traffic engineering that was prepared was the diversion of traffic flow, which was implemented situationally starting at 00.00 WIB.
Kombes Pol Latif appealed to people who want to pass through the Monas area to anticipate the traffic diversion that has been made.
“Traffic engineering was implemented during the PA 212 Reunion Munajat at the Monas crossing, this Saturday morning,” said Kombes Pol Latif, Saturday, (2/12).
Following are the traffic diversions in the Monas area:
1. Traffic from Jalan Hayam Wuruk which is going straight to Jalan Majapahit is turned left to Jalan Juanda.
2. Traffic from Jalan Veteran Raya which will turn left onto Jalan Majapahit will be straightened to Jalan Suryo Pranoto or turned right onto Jalan Gajah Mada.
3. Traffic flow from Jalan Veteran Raya heading towards Jalan Veteran III will be straightened to the Harmoni red light.
4. Traffic flow from Jalan Veteran Raya heading towards Jalan Veteran II will be straightened to the Harmoni red light.
5. Traffic from Jalan Merdeka Timur heading towards Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara is diverted to the right onto Jalan Perwira.
6. Traffic from Jalan Ridwan Rais heading towards Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan will be straightened to Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur.
7. Traffic from Jalan Abdul Muis which will turn left onto Jalan Budi Kemuliaan will be straightened to Jalan Fachrudin.
8. Traffic from Jalan Fachrudin which will turn right onto Jalan Budi Kemuliaan will be straightened to Jalan Abdul Muis.
9. Traffic from Jalan Abdul Muis to Jalan Museum is closed. Bembo
