Timika – Commander of Kodim (Dandim) 1710/Mimika Lelkol Inf Dedy Dwi Cahyadi handed over 70 CRF 150 L trail motorbikes as assistance from the Indonesian Ministry of Defense to Kodim 1710/Mimika personnel. The handover was carried out symbolically by Dandim Dedy after the morning assembly in front of the BMP Makodim Hall 1710/Mimika, Jalan Agimuga Mile 32 Kuala Kencana District, Mimika, Friday, (24/11).
Dandim 1710/Mimika on this occasion said, that this official vehicle is a form of attention from the State through the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia. Official vehicles are provided to support the operational tasks of regional command officers to serve the community in their respective target areas.
“Thank you to the Ministry of Defense for supporting us with 70 motorbikes, so that they can support the main tasks in carrying out operations in the field,” said the Dandim Dedy on behalf of Kodim members.
He also conveyed that Babinsa is a territorial apparatus that has direct contact with the community at level village/subdistrict. So providing assistance with official vehicles is considered very appropriate because of Babinsa’s vital role as the spearhead of the Indonesian National Army (TNI).
“Babinsa’s role is very vital as the spearhead of the TNI. With this motorbike, it is hoped that Babinsa can penetrate roads that cannot be passed by other vehicles, so that it does not hinder its main duties in the field,” emphasized Dandim Dedy. Bembo
